SRI LANKA (Worthy News)-- Buddhist group has launched a four-day campaign against "Christian fundamentalism" to stop their religious activities in Sri Lanka, according to Barnabas Aid.
The Ravana Balaya Buddhists claimed to have conducted their campaign after receiving complaints from other Buddhists about evangelism by Christians.
Ravana Balaya General Secretary Ittekande Saddhatissa Thera warned Christians to stop their evangelism, but if they failed to cease their religious activities, his Buddhist sect would take stronger action.
Buddhist groups have become increasingly militant in Sri Lanka as attacks on Christians become more frequent.
