Muslim herders in Nigeria continue genocide against Christian farmers

(Worthy News) - More believers were killed in Plateau State, Nigeria by Fulani herdsmen on Jan. 26 and Jan. 27 in separate attacks on predominantly Christian villages by the Muslim ethnic group, which has committed itself to exterminating Christians from the country and taking their lands.

On Sunday, Jan. 26, herdsmen swept into Kwatas and killed 15 people, following up the next day with an attack on Marish and Ruboi villages that killed 16 Christians including a pregnant woman and her baby.

“My heart again bleeds by this tragedy as lives of innocent citizens are cut short for no reason,” Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong said in a statement. “Security agencies must go after those who are behind these attacks and their sponsors so they can face the law and be taught a lesson.”

Christians in Nigeria now suspect that the government is in cahoots with the Muslim cattle-herders, who see an opportunity in the inaction of President Muhammadu Buhari to appropriate the lands of Christian farmers and destroy their villages with little to no consequence.

The Fulani ethnic group that has adopted Islam almost wholesale killed 2,000 Christians in Nigeria in 2018 alone.
