Uganda: Pastor beaten unconscious for comparing Jesus and Mohammed at funeral

Extremist Muslims in eastern Uganda beat a pastor unconscious as he officiated at the funeral of a Christian convert and used the occasion to compare Jesus Christ with the Islamic prophet Mohammed, Morning Star News (MSN) reports. While Christianity is legal in Uganda, Christians have come under increasing violent attack from radicalized Muslims on account of their faith and for sharing the Gospel.

Uganda: New Christian woman murdered by her husband for leaving Islam

A young woman in eastern Uganda was beaten to death by her Muslim husband on July 9, because he discovered she had accepted Christ as her Savior earlier the same day, Morning Star News (MSN) reports. While Christianity is legal in Uganda, former Muslims who put their faith in Christ have been increasingly violently attacked by Islamic relatives and neighbors, enraged that they have left Islam.
