(Worthy News) - Charges against a pastor who protested "Drag Queen Story Hour" were dropped Thursday, with his defense claiming police unfairly biased supporters of the pageantry.
Pastor Afshin Yaghtin went to see what the event was all about at a library in Spokane, Washington over Father's day weekend, but soon earned the ire of the police when he did not stand in one of the prescribed areas for protestors.
The Pacific Justice Institute which represented him said Yaghtin was arrested "for questioning the police's favorable treatment of supporters and unfavorable treatment of anyone they perceived to be non-supportive."
Drag Queen Story Hour is a phenomenon in which men in full drag read books to children.
