Uganda: Youth pastor killed in Islamic terror attack on church

A 32-year old youth pastor in Uganda has succumbed to his wounds after being axed in the head during an Islamic terror attack on his church in Kiboga District last month, Morning Star News (MSN) reports. Ugandan Christians are coming under increasing attack from Islamic terrorists, although Christianity is legal in Uganda, and Muslims are a minority population there.

Christians Pray After Islamic Militants Execute 20 Christians In Nigeria

Christians have urged prayers for the surviving loved ones of 20 Nigerian Christian men executed by militants affiliated with the self-proclaimed Islamic State terror group in northeast Nigeria's Borno State. In May, an Islamic States' Amaq News Agency video showed the execution of the 20 Christians forced to kneel by knife-wielding militants.

Nigeria number one in the world for jihadist murders of Christians

Nigeria ranked number one in the world last year for the number of Christians murdered by Islamic jihadists: 3,462 Nigerian Christians were slaughtered in what rights groups have described as a “killing field” for Christians. In its 2021 annual report, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) warned of a “Christian genocide” if the Nigerian government does not protect its Christian communities.

Kenya: Christian woman stands up to Islamic terrorists, saves lives

A Christian woman in Eastern Kenya is believed to have saved many lives when she stood up to five Al-Shabaab Islamic terrorists who attacked her village on January 9, International Christian Concern (ICC) reports. The Somali-based al-Shabaab group has carried out murderous attacks in Kenya since 2011, when the Kenyan government sent troops into neighboring Somalia to fight the jihadists there.
