Kenya: Christians vulnerable as al-Shabaab terror attacks continue; “the Body of Christ is hurting”

Christians in Kenya’s Lamu country report increasing vulnerability as Somali-based al-Shabaab Islamic gunmen seriously wounded several people last week, during what was the seventh terror attack in the area since the New Year, International Christian Concern (ICC) reports. A predominantly Christian country, Kenya has been plagued by terror attacks since the government has sent military aid to help neighboring Somalia against the ongoing al-Shabaab insurgency there.

Kenya: Christian woman stands up to Islamic terrorists, saves lives

A Christian woman in Eastern Kenya is believed to have saved many lives when she stood up to five Al-Shabaab Islamic terrorists who attacked her village on January 9, International Christian Concern (ICC) reports. The Somali-based al-Shabaab group has carried out murderous attacks in Kenya since 2011, when the Kenyan government sent troops into neighboring Somalia to fight the jihadists there.

Kenya: Somali-born Christian survives murder attempt by Islamists

A Somali-born Christian convert in northeastern Kenya is recovering after four ethnic Somali Muslims attempted to murder him for leaving Islam to follow Christ, Morning Star News (MSN) reports. The population of Kenya is 80% Christian but converts from Islam remain vulnerable to attacks from radicalized Muslims.
