CHITTOOR, India (Worthy News)-- Hindutva activists attacked a church in Chittoor, but five Christians were the only ones arrested.

The following day, the activists charged all five -- including two pastors -- with trespass and destruction of property, to include Hindu idols and other temple valuables; police took all those charged into custody: three are held in Tavanampalli Police Station, but police refused to disclose where they are holding Pastors Jyothi Kumar and Dhanraj.

The All India Christian Council condemned the attack on the church and the arrest of the Christians; the Council also demanded their immediate release, and that police take action against the persons behind the church attack.
