(Worthy News) - In further confirmation of evil conduct reported on by CBN News in the past, child abduction and sacrifice in the practice of witchcraft continues to plague Uganda, CBN New reported Wednesday.

On September 16, local police finally rescued a girl who was 13 years old when she and her 11-year-old brother were abducted from their home in eastern Uganda's Kachiribong village, Kasasira Town in Kibuku District in 2018, Morning Star News (MSN) reports. The girl’s brother had been murdered. The children’s father is Sulaiman Pulisi, a former Muslim Imam who became a Christian three years ago.

Pulisi's daughter was found at a house owned by a Muslim witchdoctor or shaman called Isifu Abdullah. "We are mourning for our son who is alleged to have been sacrificed," Pulisi told MSN. "We are mourning with my daughter, who has been used as a sex object by the Muslim shaman."

Local police later discovered that the children had been taken by a radical Muslim woman and sold to the witch doctor as revenge for their father’s conversion to Christianity, CBN News reports. Both the woman and the witchdoctor have been charged in connection with the abduction and killing.

It is believed there are around three million witchdoctors in Uganda. Conducting its own undercover investigation on the ground, CBN News has reported that human sacrifice is a thriving business in Uganda and that hundreds of children are kidnapped and murdered as part of it.
