Nigeria Christian “killing fields:” 18 Christians murdered in June, “please pray”

As Islamic militants continue the slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, suspected Fulani Muslim militants murdered a Christian doctor in Niger state and 17 other Christians in Plateau state this month, International Christian Concern reports. At least 1500 Christians have been killed by Islamic militants this year alone; the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) said in its 2021 annual report that Nigeria has become a “killing field for Christians.”

Uganda persecution: Radical Islamist confesses to slaughtering 70-year-old Pastor

A radical Islamist has confessed to the June 11 murder in Uganda’s Mpingire Sub-County of 70-year-old Bishop Francis Obo, senior pastor of Mpingire Pentecostal Revival Church Ministries International, Morning Star News reports. A resident of Odapako village, Mpingire Sub-County, the bishop oversaw 17 churches and is survived by his wife, Christine Obo, and 13 children.

Pastor arrested in the UK for preaching Biblical values in public

A 70-year-old British Pastor was arrested in London last month for publically preaching on the Biblical view of marriage and sexuality, Christian minister Peter Simpson reported in an article for the Conservative Woman. Pastor John Sherwood was arrested on April 23 while preaching from the Bible in the center of Uxbridge (PM Boris Johnson’s constituency).

Nigeria: Islamist Fulani militants murder 33 Christians in one week; “please pray”

Thirty-three Christians were killed in just one week of attacks by suspected Islamist Fulani militants in Nigeria’s Benue state last month, International Christian Concern reports. The murders were among the latest in years of deadly attacks on Nigerian Christian communities by Fulani militants who want to eliminate Christianity and impose Islam in the country.
