Church of England considers referencing God in gender-neutral terms

The Church of England has confirmed it is examining the possibility of changing its liturgy to reference God in gender-neutral terms instead of as “Father,” “Him,” and “He,” the New York Post (NYP) reports. However, the denomination has said there are no plans to make changes to the current liturgy at present, and any future change would require “extensive legislation.”

European Parliament event highlights Christian persecution worldwide

The ongoing crisis of Christian persecution worldwide was highlighted at the European Parliament last week, at a special presentation of the Open Doors 2023 World Watch List (WWL) of the top 50 countries where believers are most persecuted, European Times reports. Open Doors is an international NGO that monitors persecution levels and helps persecuted Christians around the world.

International Christian ministry center destroyed, Bibles burned, in Ukraine fighting

The Mission Eurasia Christian ministry had one of its training centers in Ukraine destroyed, and a stockpile of Bibles burned, during fighting between Russian and Ukrainian forces last month, CBN News reports. In a social media post about the incident, Mission Eurasia confirmed that all of their members were safe, although their field headquarters in Irpin was destroyed.
