Muslim militants slaughter Uganda radio-preacher who compared Christianity and Islam

A well-known preacher in northern Uganda was murdered by Islamic militants after he compared Christianity and Islam during a radio broadcast on October 31, Morning Star News reports. David Omara, the 64-year-old leader of Christian Church Center, was ambushed, beaten, and strangled in Aduku, Kwania District after his program.

Slaughter of Christians in Nigeria continues unchecked

According to the UK’s All-Party Parliamentary Group for International Freedom or Belief (APPG), Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari “has done virtually nothing to address” the killings and kidnappings of Christians in Nigeria by Muslim Fulani herdsmen. Therefore, the murderous persecution of Christians in Nigeria continues unchecked. In one attack this month, a pastor and two church members were killed and two were kidnapped. Then, days later, a church elder was shot in the stomach while his teenage twin daughters were kidnapped, Morning Star News (MSN) reports.

Judge orders John MacAruthur’s California church to stop indoor services in defiance of COVID-19 regulations

A California Superior Court has ordered Pastor John MacArthur’s Grace Community Church to stop holding indoor services in defiance of county COVID-19 health regulations, Courthouse News reports. Giving his ruling on Thursday, LA County Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff said he was making the order because “there is an immediate threat to public health and safety due to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
